Well what a weekend it’s been and a busy one at that! On Friday we delivered our white cast iron post box with personalised insert to Kate’s wedding at Stowe House. Stowe House is a landmark of elegance with beautiful scenes along the long driveway leading up to the house, its pristine lawns and original features. Dating back to the 18th century and on the grounds of Stowe School this is definitely a location for a grand affair. On Saturday we had the pleasure of delivering our Garden Games to Shelley’s wedding at Keythorpe Manor. This was to be our first delivery to this venue and we must say it’s already one of our favourites. Keythorpe Manor is in located in the south of Leicestershire and sits just on the edge of our furthest delivery point, but it is well worth the travel. Leading up to Keythorpe is a windy driveway of trees and fields making you feel like you are going to be tucked away and this will be your own little hideaway for the weekend. They have a little cottage for the bride to get ready in and a charming oak barn for the wedding ceremony. Walking into their marquee everyone was hard at work creating a beautiful place for the wedding breakfast and entertainment. Shelley had pinks and creams and had added a lot of her own finishing touches. Nayha one of the staff members at Keythorpe Manor, who we had been dealing with in the lead up, greeted me and took me along a tucked away pathway which opened out to breath taking views across farmland and the open countryside. Even the sheep looked happy munching away just across the lawn in the adjacent field! Little Wishes Hire garden games were to be set up on the lawn where the welcome drinks would take place so guest could be free to take part or watch, while sipping on refreshments and taking in the sunshine. The next day the games had been moved to the front of the marquee where I could see they had been well used! Nayha informed me that the adults and children thought the games were brilliant and most of the guests had taken advantage of them. On Sunday we provided our LOVE lights to Krupa who was holding her engagement party at The Conference and Banqueting Suites at The Kettering Ritz. From the front on the main street you could easily pass The Ritz without even realising it was there, but it is a hidden gem! As you enter The Ritz they had laid out a red carpet for the guest arrivals. This lead through to the bar area and a very grand suite, with enough room for up to 500 guests, with its pockets of side seating areas and mood lighting. There are even facilities offered to get ready in for your event, which Krupa took advantage of. We set up the lights in the bar area and rose petals were scattered in front of them which we thought was such a lovely idea. We collected the lights later that evening and Krupa came over (and we must say she looked beautiful all dressed up in her engagement saree) to tell us that everyone loved the lights and she is busy setting the date for the wedding next summer. Krupa hopes to be back in touch and pass our details on to her friends! How lovely. All in all this was a busy but fantastic weekend and we even had a stunning sunset on our drive back through Lamport Sunday evening. Take a look athe photos below, and feel free to click on the lionks we have provided to each venues website.
